I recently had a short chat with the manager at Celebration Station, Brandon Fl. He had asked me if I had known about the tournament at Celebration Station, Clearwater. I of course replied with a yes, and we talked a bit about it. The Clearwater location will be taking our machine for the tourney, however in a month or tow, the Brandon location will be hosting a tournament, in which we'll get the Clearwater machine.

Currently there's no exact information on the kind of tournament it will be or how it will be run. However, if I had to take a guess, it'll be done exactly like the one in Clearwater. The Nov. 23rd tournament in Clearwater is set to be a Freestyle/Technical tournament, with Red Octane pads as prizes. It's a $5.00 entrance fee and it runs from 7PM till it's done. I expect the same for the Brandon tournament in the future.

Some definites about the tourney I know of. It's going to be on a USA Mix machine. We'll have two. If they have it on a Friday like in Clearwater, it will be quite an event with a fairly large crowd of non-DDRs, so be ready to dance your hearts out.

I (Kevin Barney) know I'm nowhere near the skill level I need to be to be a real threat at the competition. I need to nail a Cata or two before I'll feel ready, but I will enter. And I may enter both Freestyle and Technical. I expect it to be a great event and you can expect Brandon2U to have full coverage of the event.
